Crispy Roasted Chickpeas recipe – These are delicious roasted chickpeas, which are cooked for a few minutes in the oven and then baked to perfection.



2 cans (15-ounce) chickpeas

1 ½ tsp chili powder

 2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp black pepper

¾ tsp kosher salt

½ tsp smoked paprika


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and drain the chickpeas. Remove as much water as possible.
  2. Place a towel on top of the chickpeas and rub to remove the skins. It’s not necessary to remove all of the skins.
  3. Now, take a medium bowl and stir together chickpeas with black pepper, chili powder, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, and salt.
  4. Take a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread chickpeas in a single layer. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Keep shaking the pan every 15 minutes while baking.
  5. Let them cool for at least 30-40 minutes before storing; they will crisp up even more as they cool.
  6. You can store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
